Bayonne Bridge
Bayonne, NJ
Register on-site on Sunday!: Online registration is closed, but you can still register at the event site on Sunday morning. The Most Exciting Run in 2013!: Be a part of history as we run & walk over the Original Bayonne Bridge for the final time before it undergoes a multiple year renovation!

The Bayonne Bridge:
...is the fifth-longest steel arch bridge in the world, and was the longest in the world at the time of its completion.
...connects Bayonne, NJ with Staten Island, NY.
...was opened on November 15, 1931.
...became a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark in 1985.

Come experience the Bayonne Bridge on September 29th!
And that's not all!: With your registration you'll get a Commemorative Bridge Run tee, a finisher souvenir, and a Celebration Party featuring food, snacks, and BEER! Our DJ will be playing favorite tracks from 7 a.m. - 1 p.m.! You don't want to miss this opportunity to party under the Bayonne Bridge!
And it's all for a great cause!: Hope for the Warriors Foundation is an organization that works to enhance the quality of life for post 911 service members, their families, and the families of the fallen who have sustained physical and psychological wounds in the line of duty.

The Independence Fund provides the tools, therapies and guidance to those veterans severely injured in the Line of Duty who are otherwise not receiving it. The Independence Fund is an entirely 100%, all-volunteer non-profit whose Board of Directors is comprised entirely of combat veterans. The organization's administrative costs are less than 1% each year!

Through the Independence Fund, the BCB 4 Mile Bayonne Bridge Run strives to raise enough funds to purchase 2 or more all terrain wheelchairs to increase the quality of life for severely disabled soldiers. Your participation and support helps us reach this goal!
