Event Management - We’ll help you plan your event from start to finish. Packages include consulting, promotion, pre-event administration, event day management, staffing, and obtaining other event day services (such as portable toilets, disc jockeying, and computer scoring) and products (such as bib #’s, pins, t-shirts, promotional items, awards, and equipment).

Event Promotion - Our team knows all of the hot spots where your event should be listed, including athletic websites, magazines and newsletters, as well as where to send press releases. We can help you decide how to get the most from your advertising budget through free listings, web and print ads, flyer distribution, etc. We can also assist with mailings to athletes, clubs, and specialty stores. This service is often paired with pre-event administration (see Administration Management).

Administration Management

• Pre-Event Administration - Short on time and volunteers? Sports A/R can handle your pre-event administration for you. We will set up online registration, receive event applications, manage data entry, send all data to your scoring company, and generate event-day reports for you to use at registration. List us as the main contact on your registration forms and we’ll handle all phone calls. We can also provide your bib #’s and safety pins, bar-code bib #’s for easy scoring, and collate your flyers or stuff your goody bags. This service is often paired with event promotion and event-day administration.
• Event-Day Administration - Sports A/R will set-up your registration area, process event-day registrations, process pre-entry registrations, and distribute giveaways (t-shirts, goody bags, etc.). Packages may include registration management and volunteer training, registration staffing, and awards set-up and ceremony conduction.

Course Management - Event courses require a lot of planning and logistics. Course management includes volunteer training and placement on course (as traffic/turn marshals or water station workers), staffing if needed, water station set-up, course set-up (dependent on equipment requested or needed), mile split management (display clock/mile marker set-up or split timers), and lead vehicle if needed. Finish Line Management - There are many responsibilities involved with your traditional finish line. From timing and backup timing to spindling bib # tear tags, Sports A/R will train your volunteers or staff your finish line. Make your finish area visible: Single chute and multi-chute finish lines available, finish line structure (for up to 2 chutes), display clock, and scoring table/chairs. Manual scoring is also available for smaller events.

Track & Field Management - Event management specialized for track & field. Packages can be tailored to fit your specific needs including consulting, promotion, pre-event administration, event day management, staffing (including certified officials), and obtaining other event services (such as the facility, field equipment, track equipment, sound system, FAT scoring or manual scoring).

Course Design - Show us the location for your event and we’ll design the safest and most efficient course for you. We are experienced in both road courses and cross country courses. Whether you are using city streets or park grounds we can help. Also see Course Management.

Personnel - Sports A/R has organized and directed many events over the years and we couldn’t do it without the support of our versatile event staff. They’ve experienced it all and are well equipped to handle any problems you may encounter on race day. No event is as successful as one with a knowledgeable staff to rely upon.
