Perfect for the novice marathon runner, this 16-week guide will include a training schedule for a fall marathon, weekly motivational e-mails, four supported long runs, meetings & clinics.
Join us and tap into a combined 100+ years of running experience. |
MEETINGS & CLINICS: |
Kick-Off Meeting - Monday, 7/28 @ 8pm - Fleet Feet Montclair
Clinic / Meeting Dates - August 18, September 8, September 29, October 20 and October 27
All clinics / meetings will be held on specified Mondays @ 8pm - Fleet Feet Montclair.
**Please note that dates are subject to change. Clinic topics, such as Training Healthy and Marathon Nutrition, will be disclosed closer to program start date.

TRAINING RUNS: |
The program will offer four supported long runs which will be held on the scheduled Sunday dates listed below. All runs will start at 7am from Fleet Feet Sports Montclair.
September 21 October 5 October 19 November 2
Participants are also invited to join our weekly store runs: Thursdays - 6:00pm (3 - 6 miles) Sundays - 7:00am (8 miles & up)

SUGGESTED ACTIVITY LEVEL PRIOR TO START OF PROGRAM: |
Participants should be able to comfortably run a distance of 8 miles at a pace of approximately 13 minutes per mile or less. Also, participants should be running 3-4 times per week consistently for 3 months or more. |
REGISTRATION: |
Registration is available online or in person at Fleet Feet Sports - Montclair, 603 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ. The program requires a minimum of 20 participants and a maximum of 40 participants.
