PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: |
We're bringing core to the great outdoors!
Four week program (classes meet FRIDAYS - 7/8, 7/15, 7/22 and 7/29) designed to educate runners about the importance of a strong core while teaching participants key core exercises that they can incorporate into their weekly training routines.
Each class will begin with discussing muscle groups to be addressed and how they relate to strong, efficient running, followed by a demonstration of exercises to be taught. The remainder of the class will be a workout utilizing exercises covered.
Each class participant is required to bring an exercise mat. Maximum class size is 30 participants. |
WORKOUT TIME AND LOCATION: |
Our group will meet at the Brookdale Park Track - in the end zone opposite the scoreboard. Participants are required to bring their own exercise mat.
Class will begin promptly at 5:30am.
Class duration is 1 hour. |
Rain Date: |
If a session is canceled due to inclement weather, the rain date will take place the following Monday after the canceled session, with the exception of the final session (rain date will be held the Saturday immediately following canceled session).
Rain dates - if needed - will be: 7/11, 7/18, 7/25 and 7/30 (Saturday). |
SUGGESTED ACTIVITY LEVEL PRIOR TO START OF PROGRAM: |
Runners, walkers and exercise enthusiasts of all levels are welcome. |

Registration is available online or in person at Fleet Feet Sports - Montclair, 603 Bloomfield Avenue, Montclair, NJ.
Space is limited with a maximum of 30 registrants for this session.
