Proceeds from the 2009 Ira's Run will be directed to help support children coping with illness and other disabilities. Beneficiaries of this years’ Run include:
Art Works: The Naomi Cohain Foundation
Tomorrow Children’s Fund: Hackensack University Medical Center
Englewood Hospital and Medical Center
IRA's Run was established in 1994 in memory of Ira Sohn who died at the age of 28. Ira’s wit, warmth, courage and optimism touched everyone he met and he would be glad that this Run, that honors his life, benefits worthy individuals and families. His family launched the first IRA’S Run to bring friends, families and communities together to celebrate life and raise funds for meaningful causes. |

5K Run/Walk: $18.[USATF-NJ $16.] by 10/26;
$25. thereafter and on race day
CMEK Kids 1/2 Mile Run :$10.
PRIZE MONEY: Prize money is offered to the first 3 men and women. Total of $1.500.00 in Prize Money
1-$400.00, 2-$250.00, 3-$100.00.
AWARDS: 5K: Top 3, male & female, Open & Master and age groups
Age Groups: Top 3, Male and Female
14 and under, 15-19, then 5 year increments through 70 and over.
Finishers Medal to all 14 and under.
CMEK Kids 1/2 Mile Run: Top 3 boy/girl awards
Ribbons for all finishers.

From NJ Turnpike going North. NJ Turnpike/ I-95.
Follow George Washington Bridge signs
( LOCAL LANES ) Take Exit 70A ( Leonia ). Slight right onto East Degraw Avenue ( CR-12 ). Left turn onto Grand Avenue( NJ-93 ). Right turn onto Madison Avenue.
From The George Washington Bridge:
Take GWB and follow signs for Route 4 West. Take ramp toward Jones Road. Turn left on Jones Road. Turn Left on Van Nostrand Avenue. Turn right on Broad Avenue and left on Madison Ave. |
