Join us at the 1st Annual 5k Run and 1Mile Walk to benefit Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue! The event will occur on the beautiful and flat Lebanon Valley Rail Trail. Registration will occur at the Cornwall Trailhead. The run and walk will start at the Cornwall Trailhead, head toward Lebanon, and return. Well behaved dogs are invited to join in the walk. Human and dog water stations will be available. The top three finishers will get gift certificates to the DVGRR online store. Door prizes will be awarded. Goody bags will be distributed to all participants. Post-race refreshments will be available.
Time:
12-1PM - Registration will occur at Cornwall Trailhead. 1PM - 5k Run begins at Cornwall Trailhead. 1:15PM - 1 Mile Walk begins at Cornwall Trailhead. 2:15PM - Top three finishers and door prize winners will be announced.
Directions and Parking:
From Interstate 76, take Exit 266 to Route 72 North for about three miles. Turn right at the light onto Route 419 North and proceed for about one mile. Turn right at the stop sign, pass the Cornwall Trailhead kiosk on your left, and make an immediate left into the Trailhead parking lot. Overflow parking will be available at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, 2596 Cornwall Road.
