Waiver	I agree that I will not do anything stupid while out on the trails of Watchung Reservation during Barn-B-Q Trail Run & Hike. What is stupid? If you don’t know the difference between stupid and smart you should go home immediately and look it up. I also agree that I am running on trails and paths that have known and unknown hazards. I could encounter any conceivable amount of known and unknown hazards on my journey. They include, but are not limited to, poison ivy, horse crap, sharp rocks, slippery rocks, mud, holes, muddy holes, roots, alien abductions, cub scouts impersonating Elvis, Jethro Tull doing a jazz flute interpretation of Brahms’ Waltz No. 15 in A-Flat Major, more sharp rocks, steep cliffs that end in excruciating agony, etc. If/When any of these things happen, I personally and wholeheartedly agree not to hold Sports Action Reaction, Get Off The Couch NJ, USA Track & Field, any of our staff/volunteers, or Union County Parks accountable. I also agree to the above concepts and a few others in that little known language Legalese as follows: I hereby for myself, heirs, executors and administrators waive and release any claims I may have against Sports Action Reaction LLC, the County of Union, USA Track & Field, and any and all parties, groups, organizations, volunteers, sponsors, and/or any representatives involved in the Barn-B-Q Trail Run events for any and all injuries which I may suffer as a result of my participation in this event. I certify that I am physically able to participate in this event. I agree to abide by and cooperate with the event officials’ instructions and decisions. I understand safety is the top priority of this event; dogs, other pets, in-line skates, skateboards, bicycles, and similar devices are not allowed on the course; and my entry fee is non-refundable for any/all reasons including unavoidable event cancellation/rescheduling. By providing my email address, I hereby authorize Sports Action Reaction LLC, to send me emails regarding this or similar events. I grant full permission to use any photo, video, recording or other record of my attendance at this event for legitimate purposes without compensation or remuneration. I understand the risks associated with drinking alcohol, understand that beer will be provided if I am over 21 and show ID, and will consume it at my own risk and with my best judgement.
